Privacy Policy

KodaBloom LLC (“KodaBloom,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) builds learning products for families and individuals. We take privacy seriously, especially where children are involved. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what we do and do not collect.

The short version

  • Our children’s apps are fully offline and collect no data whatsoever — no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking.
  • Our web products (SigmaDojo and AI Engineer Dojo) collect only an email address to create your account, and process payments securely through Stripe.
  • We do not sell personal information, and we do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking.

Our children’s apps (offline, no data collected)

Our downloadable apps designed for children — including Splashlings and Pip’s Bakery — run entirely on your device. They require no account and no internet connection to use. They do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, do not contain third-party advertising, and do not include analytics or tracking of any kind. No data ever leaves the device.

Our web products (SigmaDojo & AI Engineer Dojo)

Our web-based products collect limited information only to provide the service:

  • Email address. Used to create and sign in to your account (via a secure magic link) and to send essential account and support messages. We do not send marketing email you did not ask for.
  • Learning progress. For SigmaDojo, your practice and test progress is stored so it syncs across your devices.
  • Payment information. Purchases are processed by Stripe. Payment card details are handled directly by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.

Children’s privacy (COPPA)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our children’s apps collect nothing at all. For SigmaDojo, accounts are intended to be created and managed by a parent or guardian, and the only personal information involved is the parent-provided email address. We do not direct advertising at children, and we do not use third-party behavioral tracking. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at info@kodabloom.com and we will delete it promptly.

How we use information

We use the limited information above only to: provide and secure your account, sync your learning progress, process purchases, and respond to support requests. That’s it.

Service providers we rely on

We use a small number of trusted providers to run our web products: Supabase (secure account and progress storage), Stripe (payment processing), and Netlify (website hosting). These providers process data only to perform their service for us. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Data retention and your choices

We keep account information only as long as your account is active. You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing info@kodabloom.com. We will honor deletion requests promptly.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard the limited data we hold.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our products evolve. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
